Kirrip Aboriginal Corporation hosts Women’s Group every fortnight. This is a program for Aboriginal women to participate in, to have a yarn and feel connected socially and culturally to others in the community. We also welcome partners and mothers of Aboriginal people.
Women’s group is a socially and culturally safe group that comes together weekly to provide support and mentorship with a healthy lunch.
The Women’s group is open to all Aboriginal women and non-Aboriginal partners and mothers of Aboriginal people. This group provides a safe space for sharing individual stories and life experiences. The Women’s group is working towards growing community engagement, continuing to be involved in community events and programs.
Group activities will include arts and crafts, workshops and occasional day trips.
