COUNSELLOR

Yaama all, my name is Lita and I am from Kamilaroi country. I am a mum of 3 children and live in Bacchus Marsh.

I have been employed with Kirrip since 2022, and before this I was on the Board.  Prior to Kirrip, I worked at a Secondary college working with students with special needs and assisting our Counsellors for over 12 years. I also have over the last 20 years, volunteered with Scouts Australia.

I am a certified and registered counsellor and have extensive knowledge and experience dealing with youth with Mental Health issues. I am also certified and qualified to deal with those with special needs, am a Registered Victorian Disability Support Worker and am NDIS worker screened.

I am a strong advocate for Mental Health and have a strong community focus and will advocate for our own.

I look forward to working with our community and supporting mob where I can.
